SIA SECURITY GUARD TOP UP TRAINING
Security Officers and Security Guards who are renewing their SIA Licence after 1st October 2021 need to take this course.
Top-Up Training for an SIA Licence includes new knowledge, which was introduced to recognise the new risks and challenges of modern security guard jobs.
Delegates will learn and understand how to effectively control crowds, the best practices for working in security post-pandemic, as well as specialist skills in recognising and proactively preventing terrorist acts.

First Aid requirements for an SIA Security Guard Top-Up Training Course:
Candidates should be qualified in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW), or an equivalent qualification. If you haven't yet completed an EFAW course, don't worry. You can take it in your booked course package and get qualified that way.
Understanding which First Aid qualifications count towards your SIA Licence is very important. Your certificate must be EFAW or higher. Make sure it's also valid for over 12 months as of the start date of your Top-Up Training course.
The Top-up training includes safety-critical content including updated counter-terror training and advice for emergencies and incidents.
This 2 days course contains the knowledge and skills you need to pass your exam and renew your Security Guard SIA Licence. That licence will allow you to find work in the growing security industry.
